Victor Alex Mar came out to replace one of our garage door motors today and I could not be more impressed with the service, timeliness and overall professionalism. Victor arrived on time, and with a huge smile. He replaced the motor in a very short time, also replaces a couple of pulley wheels that were warped, lubbricated the door, set the remote, installed a new interior button. He also walked me through the new features, guided me on simple maintenance all the while being the most pleasant guy. I would definitely recommend Victor and Eastern Garage Door. My 20+ year old garage door motor gave out, so I needed a new motor. Eastern Garage Door wasn’t my first choice but after attempting unsuccessfully to reach two other local companies I called Eastern. They returned my call very fast and got the ball rolling. What impressed me most, right away, was their sale rep Lauren Brown. Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She also arrived when she said she would be here. Next was Victor the installer. Victor arrived a few minutes ahead of time, which also impressed me. Victor took the time to look over my garage door and the garage door for my wife’s car. Victor was very pleasant and I felt very confident in his workmanship. When he was done he reviewed everything with me. What a GREAT GARAGE DOOR! Fernando and Victor represented the quality character of the people who are a part of EASTERN GARAGE DOOR! Their pleasant, polite, and personable character was a treat, and was matched by the highly professional quality work they conducted. They were structured, well organized setup, the removal of the old door, rails and springs was seamless. The assembly, install of the new door, new spring system above the door and the insulating rubber framing to incase/seal the doors was all great. In December of 2021, we were facing all sorts of issues with our old, wooden garage doors. They needed to be repainted and when they (again!) stopped opening and closing, I called Eastern Garage Door. The response time was great, Dave presented a few options, and notified me that it would be quite a wait for a set of doors with a custom factory paint job. I was a bit concerned about having to put money down on something with such a long lead time, but I knew many of my neighbors had a great experience with the company so I went ahead. They were installed in August of 2022, and we love them. The color match is perfect, they are so much quieter than our old doors, and the two guys installing them were pleasant and courteous. I had 2 doors (one on my house, one on my shed) installed this past Monday, the 26th. I’m embarrassed that I can’t remember the technicians name, but he said he had been at the company for about 20 years. I just wanted it to be known what a fantastic job he did. Both doors, all by himself…without so much as a scrap left behind. I’m a huge proponent of people who are good at what they do, and this guy is just that.
